Je n'ose imaginer la quantité de travail de recherches d'archives et de témoignages que cela à dû représenter pour Laura Hillenbrand. On vit cette aventure à travers eux comme si c'était hier. Les personnages sont très attachants et les personnalités superbement peintes. Je n'avais aucune envie que le récit se termine. On est tellement plongé dans l'univers des courses qu'on a l'impression d'y être. Il fourmille de faits et détails très intéressants.
Le livre est magnifiquement bien écrit, avec intelligence et talent. Une histoire vraie à propos de coeurs brisés et d'âmes perdues qu'un cheval a réunies.
